One Book 4 Colorado 2013 a Success!

This is the last day for One Book 4 Colorado 2013, and the program has been a great success! In its second year, this statewide program has brought tens of thousands of children a free, new book to keep, read, and treasure. Public libraries, Reach Out and Read Colorado health clinics, and Denver Preschool Program preschools have offered hundreds of fun events across the state to give away the books and promote the importance of reading and talking with young children every day. Thanks to all of the libraries, clinics, and preschools that brought One Book 4 Colorado to your communities!

My service club, Denver Cherry Creek Rotary Club, has provided hundred of books to the library of Greenlee Elementary School, and this year has also provided books for all 640 students there to read and keep or exchange for another book. In addition we provided 60 books to Smiley Middle School students. as I am the book handler for my club I am interested in getting more books for the students at Greenlee and Smiley, both are schools with many poverty students. Please inform me when more books are available.
